CSI starts off very violently as we are shocked with a brutal murder right from the opening scene - which may involve foul play by the FBI. The FBI team from Without A Trace joins up CSI in order to solve a complex case. The plot spans two episodes of two different shows, a concept new to me but I’m embracing it as a clever twist to boost both show’s ratings.

Who and What: Jack Malone of the ‘Without A Trace’ FBI team joins Grissom and the Vegas CSIs as a missing boy he is searching for may be the body the CSIs are investigating. The crossover concludes in the episode of Without a Trace following.
